Claire a woman of many talents (architect, interior designer, Abahna creator, Bath Goddess to name but a few) was inspired by her long-standing interest in bathing rituals, a practice carried out by most cultures from the dawn of time.
"Considering my obsession with the bath, it was probably only a matter of time before I started to create bathing products too. I'm lucky to have been able to turn one of my hobbies into a full-time pursuit."
The name During research Claire came across many words that are used around the world in connection with bathing. Abahna is a hybrid, borrowing from nahana, meaning 'to take a bath' in Urdu, along with other words such as banya, banho and snana. These were combined to create the name Abahna.
A natural way When we discovered Abahna, we were quick to find out how natural their products are.
