Compagnie de Provence was founded in Marseille by Pascal Bourelly and Phillippe Boigeol in 1990. The company strives to promote and modernise the emblematic Marseille cube soap which has brought fame and pride to the city since the 17th century.

• In 2000 Compagnie de Provence launched the first modern version of the traditional Marseille soap in liquid form, whilst preserving the authenticity of manufacture in cauldrons using vegetable oils.
• Its products are formulated with traditional know how, natural ingredients and fragrances from the Provence Region. A close relationship exists with local partners, such as the fragrance and perfume professionals of Grasse.
• Inspired by the 20th century industrial aesthetic, Compagnie de Provence offers a pure graphic design that remains unmatched. It strives to maintain contemporary shape with natural and authentic materials.
