Jane Iredale Absence Oil Control Primer No 2 is an oil-controlling makeup primer effective on any skin type but particularly beneficial for normal to oily and acne-prone skins. Jane Iredale Absence Oil Control Primer No 2 has all the benefits of Absence but is specifically formulated to complement the global foundation shades. This cream to powder primer not only eliminates shine and controls sebum but also primes the skin, leaving it with a perfectly smooth surface for the application of any of the mineral bases.

The interaction of oil and makeup is one of the principle causes of colour change, Absence No 2 keeps colour true by forming an attraction barrier between the skin and makeup so that makeup can stay on longer and skin stays shine-free. It also has an SPF 15.

Absence No 2 doesn't just absorb oil the way most oil-control products do, but actually helps to control over-active sebaceous glands, Hydrated Silica reduces sebaceous hypersecretion and also helps to regulate the pH balance of the skin. It has no effect on the actual moisture of the skin. The seaweed content in this product also helps to regulate the pH balance of the skin.

Though it looks a medium tone in the compact, it is transparent on the skin and is suitable for all skin types as a primer before applying the bases. It should be part of the daily routine of acne sufferers.
