In the mid to late 1800’s, Sebastian Kneipp revolutionized natural medicine. At the age of 28, Sebastian Kneipp cured himself of a severe case of tuberculosis (a disease considered incurable during this time) by taking brief immersions in the cold waters of the Danube during the winter. Kneipp dedicated the rest of his long life to harnessing the healing power of water by using specific plants and herbs. Kneipp was not just a pioneer, but also became an authority in the field of holistic healing.

Kneipp products incorporate unique distillation processes that allow their products to maintain their natural ingredients. For example, the Kneipp Eucalyptus Bath Oil product uses the cold press to extract the precious and health giving oil from the Eucalyptus tree. All Kneipp products, if they have no use-by date, are good until at least 30 months from purchase, in keeping with the standards of the EU (European Union). No special storage is required.
