Jane Iredale Lip Pencil - Cocoa is a lip definer that is created to be soft enough to fill in your lips easily but durable enough to provide a long-lasting base to the colour you layer over it. Made with conditioning oils of Jojoba, Meadowfoam Seed & Mango Seed and Carnauba & Candelilla waxes their soft formula lends itself to blending and being used as a lip base. Because they are coloured with protective pigments and have no FD&C dyes, the pencils can be used anywhere on the face. They are perfectly interchangeable between eyes and lips.

Apply a pencil base and layer with a lip gloss for a very current look. Use the cosmetic pencil sharpener to maintain a rounded point. (Regular pencil sharpeners don’t have a large enough opening and will split the wood.) The only way to sanitize pencils is by sharpening.

To define the lips apply Lip Pencil - Cocoa to the upper lip, begin from the outside corner of the upper lip but not right in the corner. Use short light, light strokes work in towards the bow following the natural shape of the mouth. Repeat on the other side. Check to make sure the shape is even. Do the same thing to the bottom lip. Fill the lips in with the pencil leaving the centre part of both lips free of colour. Blot and apply your choice of LipColour or LipShere. For a really current look, fill in the lips with a pencil and layer with a PureGloss or a LipShere.
